In an effort to learn more about the roster of City Council and Mayoral candidates in the upcoming election and keep you informed, NBCFGFG has developed a questionnaire and circulated it all the candidates. We will share the questionnaire with you when we get the responses back in a week. Here is the letter we sent out this morning with the questionnaire:
City Council and Mayoral Candidates:
Since the passage of propositions 6-176 and 6-177, North Bend Citizens for Good Faith Government, has tried to remain somewhat active through our FaceBook and website presence by keeping our readers informed of North Bend city news and decisions. In an effort to continue our communications with the large number of citizens who supported the propositions, we have developed a questionnaire for the candidates running for public office in North Bend this November 3. The questionnaire was designed to elicit responses from the candidates on key issues identified during our petition signature gathering as well as our own research into operations of the city. As a result of your responses we hope to better inform the voters of who the candidates are and what they represent.

We would like to receive your response by email by Friday, September 18 at 5:00 p.m. To preserve the integrity of the process we respectfully ask that you convert the response document to PDF before attaching to your email. In addition to keep the process more “blind” on our end, we ask that you return your questionnaires to Allan Ledesma (allan@epuerto.us). Allan is a longtime North Bend resident, local business owner and has been very involved in the community. He will compile all the responses and forward them back to us. We will note the respondents and place the results of the questionnaire on our Facebook and webpage. Allan will also post the results on his webpage.
